About Us

2001 was an interesting year. Our country was attacked by Islamic terrorist. That same year, I lost one of my hero’s Jack Hyles, and August 21st of that same year, Heritage Baptist Church was born.

God, in an amazing way, thought it necessary to provide a place for an old fashion bible believing Baptist church.

Within 6 months, we relocated to a larger space to accommodate the growth in our congregation.

By 2005, we moved to our second location, 6442 22nd Avenue. It was at this location that we were able to establish several new ministries.

After we realized that a new location would better accommodate our vision, the Lord opened the door for us to purchase a building and property that would meet our needs.

On January 1, 2017 we moved to our current location, 2313 17th Avenue, Kenosha WI. While at this facility we were able to continue our soul winning program, as well as establish a radio ministry.

Because of the amount of land that the Lord has blessed us with, we are looking to expand our facility as God sees fit.

Over the years, God has been very gracious to us and we long to see what He has in store for Heritage Baptist Church moving forward.

I am excited that you would take the time to visit our site. We are thrilled about what the Lord has been doing here at Heritage Baptist Church. I have been Pastoring Heritage since its conception in 2001 and have viewed firsthand the wonder working power of our wonderful Savior. Though we are like unto a small gem in a sea of churches, God has graciously placed us in a sure place.

We need strong, solid, stable Independent Baptist Churches that will not compromise on the KJV Bible, the old Hymns of the faith and its love and fervency for the Old Time Religion.

Our sincere desire is to make much of Jesus Christ and to give Him first place in all that we do.

AUTHENTICITY: We believe we can’t be what God has called us to be if we are not genuinely ourselves. We must be our true selves so that we make a connection with one another on a higher level.

BIBLICAL TRUTH: We believe the Bible is God’s inherent truth and it’s the foundation to everything we do.

COMMUNICATION: He used the current language and daily life experiences of those around him to communicate truth.

LIFE TOGETHER: We aren’t interested in being a place where a lot of people get together for an inspiring service but never move beyond the casual, arm’s distance relationships of an auditorium.

EXCELLENCE: We don’t believe in striving for unrealistic perfection. Real excellence is about bringing your best to God’s work and to life in general.

GROWTH: This is a safe place for everyone. But safe doesn’t mean comfortable. The answers aren’t always comfortable.
